Dr. Heimpel completed her PhD training in the clinical psychology program at the University of Waterloo and is a registered member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario.  Her clinical training has included work with children, adolescents and adults. A component of her doctoral training included pre-doctoral internship through the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Manitoba, where she provided child and adult assessment and treatment services. Earlier in her career, Dr. Heimpel also worked as an adjunct professor and clinical supervisor for the clinical psychology graduate program at the University of Waterloo. Currently, Dr. Heimpel works with preschoolers, school-age children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, providing both assessment and treatment.
